EMILIA GORSKA

Inspiring others to make a difference

Priorities
I’m Emilia, a Computer Science student at City. I believe that student life is all about balance and making the most of every moment. I’m always on the lookout for new opportunities to help me grow as a person, both inside and outside the classroom whilst encouraging a healthy academic and social life to maintain good mental and physical wellbeing.
Cost of Living Crisis
Financial issues of students are largely ignored and help should be more available to those struggling, find ways to reduce financial burden and allow students do focus on more important things without having to worry about money
Mental Health, Wellbeing and Student Support
Support and facilities for students struggling with mental health issues should be more readily available especially during exam periods, students should have multiple opportunities to de stress and fight feelings of isolation or negative thoughts
Student Communities & Events (Student Societies and Sports)
More events for students to bond and have fun with others but also to feel more comfortable at university. Encourage society activity so people can engage in things that interest them rather than having to focus solely on academics
